Job summary
Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Controls Engineer for our manufacturing client in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and integration of automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
The ideal candidate will bring experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix/Studio 5000, and best-practice control system design. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of controls engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC environments is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting from 24V to 480V control circuits; diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
- Lead projects, coordinate timelines, and document FATs and engineering activities.
- Maintain safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for controls activities.
