Job summary
KingRecruitingServices seeks a Controls Engineer for a major manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.
Core duties include electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, project leadership from initiation through completion, FAT, and safety/compliance. The role features relocation assistance, a strong salary range, and bonus potential.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education in conjunction with related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming and electrical control system design.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with related departments to support operations and continuous improvement.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
- Support and lead manufacturing projects with controls engineering expertise from initiation through completion.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and FAT-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
