Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Controls Engineer for a major manufacturing facility in the southwest suburban Atlanta metro area. There is a 401K with company match, relocation assistance, and a bonus potential in addition to major company benefits.

An attractive salary range is associated with the position. In this role you will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2+ years with strong background.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical/control systems on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
• Program, modify, and commission machine controls and PLC/HMI systems.
• Lead projects and coordinate activities with internal departments and external vendors.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to controls activities.
• Maintain safety compliance per OHSA and internal EHS standards.
• Support or lead manufacturing improvement initiatives and FAT activities.
