Family Pet Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to be the primary contact for clients and their pets, balancing administrative precision with warmth in a clinical setting.

You'll join a team at AAHA-accredited, full-service practice, handling high-volume front-desk duties, scheduling, payments, and patient coordination while delivering exceptional customer service and compassionate care in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience.
• Experience with practice management software.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology.
• Proficiency in scheduling, phone handling, records and payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle distressed or emotional situations.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in clients and patients using practice management software.
• Answer a multi-line phone system and handle appointment inquiries.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule follow-ups.
• Convey medical information compassionately, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain electronic medical records and data entry in the PIMS/EMR system.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to maintain patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
