Mission Pet Health is seeking a receptionist to serve as the front line for client interactions and care coordination. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and help with medical records, appointments, and payments.

You will educate clients on preventative care and hospital services while maintaining a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented approach in a busy veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation.
