Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Westland, MI to meet with families, assess needs, and guide them through selecting funeral and cemetery products. This role emphasizes consultative selling, building a robust pipeline, and managing relationships via HubSpot CRM.

You will earn commissions with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate during training, and participate in a paid training period. Local travel and community engagement are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year sales experience preferred (outside B2C, consultative, or related roles).
• CRM experience with HubSpot or similar tools preferred.
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral/cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline via leads, walk-ins, referrals, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up through the sales process.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and finalize contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and activities.
• Attend services as appropriate to support families.
