Job summary

Everstory Partners in Plymouth, MI seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery purchases with care and clarity. You will meet with individuals, present options, and help families make informed decisions while earning commission based on performance.

The role blends consultative sales with relationship-building and lead generation across channels; you will use HubSpot to track activity and build a pipeline.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local visits.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries; follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions and complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and leadership teams to provide positive customer experiences.
