Job summary

Everstory Partners in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery option choices. The role blends consultative and B2C sales, lead generation, and relationship-building to grow business in a compassionate, customer-focused environment.

You will earn commissions based on performance, with an uncapped structure or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, plus paid training during the first six weeks. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• One year of sales-related experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline through leads, walk-ins, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Manage leads and customer activity using HubSpot CRM and follow up throughout the sales process.
• Attend events and support families during services and ceremonies.
