Job summary

Vector Security, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative in Louisville, KY to drive bookings and recurring revenue by prospecting, presenting Vector’s security solutions to commercial customers, and documenting sales agreements.

You will maintain product knowledge, generate proposals, grow a pipeline, and coordinate with the design and operations teams to scope large installations while pursuing new market segments and staying competitive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Strong prospecting and closing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sell Vector’s commercial solutions and achieve bookings, recurring revenue, and margin targets.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge through training and certifications; educate customers on solutions like video, intrusion, access control, and fire systems.
• Generate commercial proposals and maintain a pipeline at least four times the monthly quota; track in CRM.
• Collaborate with the design team and branch ops to properly scope large commercial installations.
• Create strategies to market products to new segments and opportunities beyond current accounts.
• Monitor competition and market pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
