Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Screening Sales Representative to advance colorectal cancer screening by partnering with healthcare providers to increase adoption of Cologuard and other diagnostic solutions. The role covers Fredericksburg, Stafford and surrounding Virginia areas, with a remote work element and travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of Cologuard while achieving sales objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare administrators to deliver value-based diagnostic solutions.
• Analyze local healthcare markets and account insights to identify opportunities that improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers to maximize account success.
• Document customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development within CRM to high standards.
