Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Field-Based Sales Specialist in the United States to drive product growth of Cologuard in medical practices. You will develop account plans, engage with healthcare providers, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver diagnostic solutions and improve patient outcomes across Jenkintown and surrounding territories.

The role requires strong relationship-building, data-driven insights, and the ability to travel locally and overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Sales, Business Management, Marketing or Science, or any related field or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years of previous sales, inside sales or account management experience OR 1+ years of sales experience plus 1+ years in a healthcare setting or related field OR completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or above
• Possession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee in the last 36 months.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscape to identify opportunities for improved patient outcomes.
• Build a network of relationships within accounts to gain insight into system needs and capture customer data in CRM.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to make data-driven decisions on account potential and opportunities.

Education
