Job summary

Abbott invites a Screening Sales Representative to advance cancer screening and early detection by partnering with healthcare providers to increase adoption of the cancer screening portfolio, including Cologuard products. You will build trusted relationships and drive growth through strategic account management and cross-functional collaboration.

The role is based in the California remote territory, with travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or related field or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience or one year plus healthcare experience or active-duty military service as Junior Officer or above.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements where applicable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase awareness and adoption of Cologuard products.
• Build strong relationships with physicians and healthcare administrators, delivering value-based diagnostic solutions.
• Analyze local healthcare markets and account insights to identify opportunities for improved patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, and Area Managers to implement customer-specific strategies.
• Document customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline in CRM with high ethics and compliance.
