Job summary

Numerica Credit Union is seeking a Collector I to join the Accounts Control team in multiple Washington regions, including Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Wenatchee. The role focuses on collecting early-stage delinquent accounts such as consumer loans, credit cards, and payday loans.

Under moderate supervision, you will contact members, document statuses, and apply skip tracing as needed. The position emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contacts delinquent borrowers by telephone, email, or mail to encourage prompt repayment.
• Review terms of loan, charge, or credit contract with member.
• Identify unresponsive members and use skip tracing resources as needed.
• Manage a high volume of accounts across multiple systems daily.
• Document status and actions clearly in member records.
