Job summary

Numerica Credit Union is hiring a Collector I to pursue early-stage delinquent accounts across Spokane, Tri-Cities, or Wenatchee regions. You will contact members by phone, mail, or email to resolve delinquencies and maintain accurate files under supervision.

Role reports to Accounts Control Assistant Manager and requires a high school diploma with 1+ year related experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; NMLS and notary are optional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED; plus at least 1 year related experience/training or equivalent.
• Preferred: call center and/or collection experience in financial institutions.
• NMLS registration preferred; notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent borrowers by phone, email, or mail to encourage repayment.
• Maintain and update member files with accurate status of collections.
• Skip tracing to locate information when members are unresponsive.
• Prioritize a high volume of accounts across multiple systems.
• Record details of financial status and collection actions clearly in records.
