Job summary

Axon seeks a Unified Communications Integration Engineer in Washington, DC to integrate and deploy a cloud-based emergency real-time communication platform. You will ensure interoperability of RTC/VoIP services with high security and 5-nines uptime, collaborating with Operations and bridging Engineering with the Business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in solutions deployment of open-source VoIP solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of VoIP deployments and protocols like SIP, SDP, RTP, Web RTC, plus related codecs and encryption.
• Good understanding of Linux environments and bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly available 911 infrastructure as part of the real-time communication team.
• Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne’s Novel Emergency Communication Platform.
• Provide clients with customized communication solutions for unified communications services.
