Axon is seeking a Unified Communications Integration Engineer to integrate and deploy a Cloud-Based Emergency Real-Time Communication Platform. You will ensure interoperability of RTC/VoIP, adhere to security standards, and collaborate with Carbyne’s Operations and Engineering teams to deliver high-availability UC services.

You will configure, deploy, and support a scalable UC solution, work with AWS, Linux, and open-source tools, and drive onboarding of new customers in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Proven experience with VoIP architecture and open-source UC deployments.
• 3+ years of experience deploying open-source VoIP solutions.
• Good understanding of networking and OSI model; strong fundamentals in networking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly available 911 infrastructure as part of Carbyne operations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne’s Novel Emergency Communication Platform.
• Provide clients with customized UC solutions and support for Carbyne’s services.
• Install, maintain, integrate, and contribute to PBX projects and UC solutions.
• Create and maintain technical specs and solution documents.
• Onboard new customers aligning with requirements and specifications.
• Provide training and technical support to Operations on 911 systems.
• Develop understanding of UC architecture, networking and cloud computing.
