MercyOne Health System is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to greet patients and manage the front desk, ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will check in patients, schedule appointments, collect copays, verify insurance, and enter demographics in the EMR while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certified or obtained within three months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with patient information.

Responsabilidades

• Check-in patients and ensure admitting is efficient and compliant.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient documents into the electronic medical record.
