The role requires managing front desk tasks, maintaining patient flow, scheduling appointments, handling calls, verifying insurance eligibility, and entering demographics into the EHR, while collecting payments at the time of appointment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Must read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Professional presence reflecting honesty, integrity, and caring.

Responsabilités

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors and decisions.
• Performs patient check-in and ensures admitting process is efficient and compliant.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient materials into the electronic medical record.
