Job summary

McCarter & English, LLP seeks a Client Reporting Specialist who may be based in any office location. The role focuses on ensuring outside counsel guideline compliance and developing reports, dashboards, and insight tools for client teams. The ideal candidate has at least one year of quantitative, analytical experience and familiarity with litigation workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one full-time year of quantitative, analytical professional experience or equivalent internship.
• Fluency in legal dispute lifecycles and exposure to litigation workflows is preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the firm and clients to ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines with a focus on financial and staffing reports and client requirements.
• Review time and cost entries to ensure client compliance prior to invoicing and coordinate with project managers and timekeepers to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Support the management of engagements by gathering data, maintaining data integrity, and providing reports to clients and firm management.
• Assist in the development and use of reports and tools to facilitate data-based decision-making for clients and teams.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and colleagues to tailor report methodologies and tools.
