Job summary

McCarter & English, LLP is seeking a Client Reporting Specialist who may be based in any office location. You will work with client teams to ensure outside counsel guideline billing compliance and develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and insight tools to support legal services across practice areas.

The role requires at least 1 year of quantitative, analytical experience and fluency in litigation workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of quantitative, analytical professional experience or equivalent
• Fluency in legal dispute lifecycles and exposure to litigation workflows
• Associate degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the firm and clients to ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines with a focus on financial and staffing reports.
• Review time and cost entries to ensure compliance prior to invoicing and coordinate with legal project managers and timekeepers.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather data, maintain data integrity, and provide reports and insights to clients and firm management.
• Support the development and use of reports and tools to facilitate data-driven decision making for clients and teams.
• Help tailor report methodologies to client needs and drive continuous process improvements.
