Job summary

McCarter & English, LLP is seeking a Client Reporting Specialist who may be based in any office location. The role focuses on OCG billing compliance, data gathering, and the creation of insightful reports and dashboards for client teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of quantitative, analytical experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Candidates should be flexible to extended hours and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of fulltime quantitative, analytical professional experience or equivalent
• Fluency in legal dispute lifecycles or exposure to litigation workflows is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Word
• Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the firm and clients to ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines and prepare financial and staffing reports.
• Review time and cost entries for client compliance prior to invoicing and coordinate with legal project managers and timekeepers.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather data, maintain data integrity, and provide reports/insights to clients and firm leadership.
• Support the development and use of reports/tools to drive data-based decision making for clients.
• Work with clients, vendors and firm colleagues to tailor report methodologies to needs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through teamwork and constructive feedback.
