Job summary

McCarter & English, LLP is seeking a Client Reporting Specialist who may be based in any office location. The role focuses on ensuring OCG billing compliance and developing, maintaining, and distributing reports and dashboards for client teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of quantitative, analytical experience and familiarity with litigation workflows. Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills are required, with a client-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one full-time year of quantitative, analytical experience.
• Fluency in legal dispute lifecycles or experience with complex litigation workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the firm and clients to ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines and report on financial and staffing metrics.
• Review time and cost entries for client requirements prior to invoicing; coordinate with project managers and timekeepers to maintain compliance.
• Gather data, maintain data integrity, and provide reports and insights to clients and firm management.
