Job summary

McCarter & English, LLP is seeking a Client Reporting Specialist who may be based in any of our office locations. You will work with client teams to ensure outside counsel guideline (OCG) billing compliance and develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and other insight tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time quantitative, analytical professional experience or equivalent part-time/internship experience.
• Fluency in legal dispute lifecycles, exposure to litigation deliverables, or experience with complex litigation workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the firm and clients to ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines with a focus on financial and staffing reports.
• Review time and cost entries to ensure client requirements before invoicing and coordinate with project managers, timekeepers, and partners to maintain compliance.
• Gather data, maintain data integrity, and provide reports and insights to clients and firm management.
