Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency delivering paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Client Partner you own an established book of recurring agency clients and guide them to renewals and expanded partnerships.

You will work with the strategists and delivery team to present one clear voice to clients, maintain relationships, and drive revenue across retention and upsells.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising.
• Track record of retaining clients and selling additional work with measurable results.
• Comfort with a quota and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retention across your book: manage relationships, renewals and early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: identify next projects inside each client and sell them.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
