Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency offering paid media, SEO, CRO and web services. As Senior Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients, retaining them and growing their spend.

Base plus commission, split 50/50. You will work with strategists and delivery teams to ensure clients hear one clear voice and hit a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency.
• Proven track record of keeping clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota and meeting targets.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.
