Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Client Partner to own a book of recurring agency clients. You will collaborate with our sales team to win new clients, keep them, and grow revenue, while maintaining one clear voice across strategists and delivery teams.

You will work remotely from the USA or Canada with a seven-figure annual quota for retention and upsells, and a base plus commission compensation structure split 50/50. Experience in agency account management is required.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience is a must.
• Experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising agencies.
• Ability to keep clients and sell more work, with measurable numbers.
• Comfort carrying a quota and closing deals with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
