• 1 year of procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight.
• Maintain communication with carriers and customers to ensure high-quality freight movement.
• Inform all parties of route changes, delays, or issues as they arise.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times and consider weather, traffic, and service rules.
• Follow procedures to ensure shipment integrity and RXO brand.
• Update information in the company’s operating systems.
• Research databases for potential leads; make cold calls to prospects.
• Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accurate.
