RXO Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Carrier Sales in Brokerage to source, negotiate, and secure carriers for freight moves. You will cultivate strong carrier relationships and maintain clear communication with carriers and customers to ensure timely and cost-efficient shipments.

You will schedule pickups, verify routes, and update RXO’s systems while researching potential leads and performing cold outreach. A background in procurement, transportation, and sales supports success in this role.

Formación

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• The ability to exercise judgment and discretion while working independently.

Responsabilidades

• Cultivate carrier relationships and negotiate to secure freight.
• Maintain communication with carriers and customers for smooth freight movement.
• Inform all parties about route changes, delays, or issues affecting timelines.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, considering factors like weather and traffic.
• Update information in RXO’s operating systems and HVS/HRC load procedures.
• Research potential leads in databases and make cold calls to prospects.
• Track back-end billing and verify carrier charges.
