Qualifications

• 1 year of transportation or procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move freight.
• Maintain communication with carriers and customers for a high-quality freight movement.
• Inform all parties of route changes, delays, or issues as necessary.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments considering timing, weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.
• Follow procedures for HVS and HRC loads to protect shipment integrity and RXO brand.
• Accurately maintain and update information in RXO operating systems.
• Research databases for potential leads; make cold calls to prospects.
• Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accurate.
