Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking an Associate Carrier Sales Representative to source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move freight efficiently across North America. You’ll build carrier relationships, communicate with customers, and ensure timely, cost-effective shipments.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for performance-based pay and a strong benefits package. The role requires procurement and transportation experience, plus strong communication and judgment skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move freight.
• Maintain communication with carriers and customers to ensure quality freight movement.
• Inform all parties of route changes, delays, or issues.
• Schedule pickup and delivery times, considering weather, traffic, and service rules.
• Follow procedures for HVS and HRC loads to protect RXO brand.
• Maintain and update information in operating systems.
• Research databases for potential leads and perform cold calls.
• Track back-end billing and invoicing for carrier charges accuracy.
