Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year customer-facing experience.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable with phone communication and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, updating patient records, and explaining next steps.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up on future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
