SUNY Cortland is seeking a Tech Help Student Assistant for Fall 2026-Spring 2027. The role provides telephone and occasional in-person support to the campus community, including students, faculty, and staff, with duties such as troubleshooting myRedDragon access, password resets, and configuring mobile devices to the SUNY Cortland network.

Responsibilities include assisting with Microsoft Office applications, hardware/software issues, and collecting ticket information for unresolved problems.

Formación

• Must be a current SUNY Cortland student.
• Eagerness to provide customers with technology help.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience troubleshooting issues on PCs or Apple computers.
• Experience troubleshooting issues on smartphones.

Responsabilidades

• Provide telephone support and occasional face-to-face customer service for students, faculty, and staff.
• Troubleshoot myRedDragon access and assist with password resets.
• Configure mobile devices to the SUNY Cortland network.
• Assist with Microsoft Office applications and general hardware/software issues.
• Gather information to resolve tickets not solved by students independently.
