Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Audiologist to conduct VA-required C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

The position is a 1099 Independent Contractor offering flexible scheduling and in-person evaluation opportunities. Must have access to calibrated equipment and VA-compliant testing protocols.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.

Responsibilities

Conduc t C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans
Perform structured hearing loss & tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines
Review medical records and focused history
Obtain relevant history via interviews
Conduct audiometric testing and document results
Prepare VA-format reports clearly and timely
Maintain objective findings and avoid bias in VA claims
Submit documentation within required timeframes
Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment
Adhere to ethical, legal and confidentiality requirements
