Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct VA-required C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on testing, documentation, and reporting for Veterans, with flexible scheduling and no ongoing patient care.

You will perform structured assessments, review records, and provide objective, fact-based findings to support claims. The position offers the opportunity to supplement income as a 1099 contractor, with in-person evaluation opportunities and streamlined

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Calibrated audiometer capable of VA-required hearing evaluations.
• Diagnostic tympanometer capable of tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare clear, concise VA-format reports.
• Provide objective findings without influencing Veteran claims.
• Submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
