Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct VA C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

The position offers flexibility, in-person opportunities, and the chance to supplement income through structured evaluations. Experience with VA protocols and quality reporting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Must have access to diagnostic tympanometer for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Maryland CNC testing experience.
• Access to VA-diagnostic audiology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Conduct audiometric testing and complete documentation.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide objective findings without influencing claims outcomes.
• Submit reports within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
