Job summary

Empower Mental Health seeks a licensed audiologist to conduct VA/C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with flexible scheduling and no ongoing patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or higher in audiology, unrestricted licensure, and experience with VA protocols. Full-time terms are contractor-based, with opportunities for in-person work.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Maryland CNC speech testing familiarity.
• Access to specialized diagnostic equipment listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Conduct audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare VA-formatted reports with clear conclusions.
• Maintain separation between evaluation and treatment.
