Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking licensed audiologists for a flexible, non-clinical C&P evaluation role focused on VA requirements. You will conduct structured evaluations and prepare VA-compliant reports for Veterans, without ongoing patient care or billing.

This 1099 independent contractor position offers flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities, with emphasis on objective, evidence-based findings and ethical confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Must have access to diagnostic tympanometer.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Experience with Maryland CNC speech testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and examination information.
• Obtain history through focused interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare clear VA-formatted reports in a timely fashion.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Submit completed reports within required timeframes.
