Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with SOCOM requirements and emerging trends. You will work with Engineering and BD teams to demonstrate capabilities, support field trials, and travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, with remote options based on location.

As part of the Applications Engineering team, you will shape technical roadmaps, engage with SOCOM stakeholders, and contribute to proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms desired.
• Security clearance: active SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months; U.S. citizen required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and run field trials and user evaluations.
• Support demos and competitive benchmarking to verify architectures.
• Coordinate with BD to meet strategic priorities and engage with stakeholders.
• Prepare technical inputs for RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
