Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will facilitate field trials, demonstrations, and collaboration with engineering and business development teams across multi-domain environments.

Ability to travel up to 50% and work with field tests is required. A related degree and security clearance are essential, with US citizenship mandated due to government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years of experience; OR HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures with benchmarking data.
• Support business development with technical inputs and demos.
• Prepare responses to RFIs/RFPs with technical detail.
• Travel to customer sites and labs as required.
