Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness across tactical environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a 100% remote option depending on location, and close alignment with strategic priorities and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms systems preferred.
• Ability to work in remote teams and adapt to field environments.

Responsibilities

• Bridge technical radio frequency capabilities with customer requirements.
• Support USSOCOM acquisition stakeholders and field testing.
• Lead network configuration and live-on-the-air field trials and demonstrations.
• Prepare technical demonstrations tailored to SOF needs and collect field feedback.
