Job summary

Telnet Inc. in Pontiac, MI is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support Infrastructure Services projects across Networking, Server, Workstation Services and O365.

You will analyze data, write technical requirements, design solutions, test and implement technology changes, and develop procedures to improve existing systems. Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations, M365, data analytics, and contracts/RFPs is required, with knowledge of on‑premise, cloud, and SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations across Asset Management, Inventory, and CMDB discovery.
• Proven data analytics experience and ability to leverage data for decision making.
• Experience with Contracts and RFP processes is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise, cloud-hosted, and SaaS environments.
• MUST have M365 productivity suite proficiency and Agile/Scrum exposure.

Job Description:

• Business Systems Analyst on projects across Infrastructure Services, including Networking, Server, Workstation Services, O365, VoIP Telecommunications and Service Center teams.
• Candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility of project assignments. BSA will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the project, and to ensure that deliverables are met according to specifications.
• BSA duties will also include data analysis, designing solutions and writing up technical requirements, testing and implementing technology solutions, conducting research, creating procedures to improve the existing systems, providing training and support to users, writing Request for Proposals and Contract Scope of Deliverables.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB discovery, Webex)
• Telecommunications Expense Management experience a plus
• MUST HAVE strong experience using M365 Productivity Suite
• MUST HAVE data analytics experience
• Experience with Contracts and Request for Proposals a plus

Must Have:

• Enterprise project and construction management software: Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or similar enterprise project and construction management software platforms.
• Enterprise application configuration and testing: Experience with application configuration, implementation, and support, including software testing, test planning, test execution, defect management, and test automation using Worksoft or comparable tools.
• Agile delivery and development tools: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Relevant technical experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or a related technical discipline.
• Business requirements and functional documentation: Experience gathering business requirements and developing functional and system documentation, including requirements specifications, user stories, use cases, and business process documentation.
• Knowledge of on-premise, cloud-hosted, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Pandell Land Property Management.
• Experience with Hitachi Energy eSOMS.
• Experience supporting field devices and related software solutions.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Experience in utility, energy, or regulated-industry environments.
