David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to join our store team in Hagerstown, MD. You will handle fittings, alterations, and sewing to meet high quality standards and support a superior customer experience.

You’ll greet customers, coordinate with stylists, and manage alteration timelines while upholding dress code and store standards. Prior sewing experience in bridal or special occasion production is preferred, and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, communicates clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers by problem solving, excellent phone skills and resolving conflict.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain all service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all our customers, this includes all operational checklist task and meeting customers emotional and practical needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at one time and contribute to achieving Five-Star Customer Service.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and know when to escalate to leadership.
• Explain how alterations can improve the dress and promote alteration services and personalization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers about gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience and keep alterations area clean and organized.
• Perform duties assigned by store management and support cash wrap activities.
