Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations with high standards. You will greet customers, guide gown fittings, and partner with stylists to ensure a perfect fit for events.

Role requires sewing expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple customers while maintaining store standards and the alterations room. Experience with POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior sewing experience preferred, ideally in bridal or special occasion production.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store is a plus.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via chats.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience using all store systems.
• Maintain soft skills and dress code while ensuring quality control for altered garments.
• Assist stylists by consulting on gown fit and customization to close sales.
• Oversee alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot-cleaning to meet company standards.
• Keep alterations room clean, organized, and ready for appointments.
• Respond to customer questions with product/service information and resolve issues promptly.
