Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to join our store team. You will handle fittings, alterations, sewing, steaming, and pressing to the high standards of our brand, while delivering superior customer service and guidance to clients planning special events.

Responsibilities include assisting stylists with gown fit, maintaining a pristine alterations room, and ensuring all garments meet quality checks before delivery. Prior sewing and bridal experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm via phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Assist stylists in closing sales regarding gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure cleanliness for a flawless shopping experience.
• Inspect garments after alterations to verify pristine condition before delivery.
• Resolve customer issues quickly in alignment with company guidelines.
