David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and technical service. You will join the store team and support colleagues to ensure each garment meets quality before delivery.

This part-time role requires sewing experience, a high school diploma, and comfort with POS systems. You’ll greet customers, manage alterations, and maintain a clean alterations area while delivering five-star service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; sewing experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience in apparel or specialty stores is a plus.
• Sewing skills and ability to operate a POS system are essential.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset are expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with fittings and alterations.
• Manage alterations workflow and quality control before delivery.
• Collaborate with stylists to support sales and tailoring needs.
• Maintain alterations area cleanliness and adhere to dress code.
• Resolve issues promptly and elevate when necessary.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS and support store operations.
