Job summary

David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand’s high standards. You’ll greet customers, solve garment issues, and collaborate with stylists to ensure perfect gown fit and customization.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, steaming, pressing, and supervising the alterations room, while delivering five-star service and maintaining company standards on pricing and inventory. Prior sewing and bridal alteration experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, bridal/sp. occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them to alterations appointments, over phone and in person.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure pristine condition of garments.
• Process transactions accurately and follow company pricing standards.
• Provide product and service information and resolve customer questions promptly.
