Job summary

Partners In Health is seeking an IT Systems Administrator in Boston, MA to monitor and support our computer and network systems. The role requires on-site presence two days a week, 9am–5pm ET, and reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise Systems.

You will manage servers, networks, backups, and security, while collaborating with a global IT team to maintain reliable infrastructure. Responsibilities cover server monitoring, network management, security patching, and end-user support.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud engineering, or comparable experience.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Azure virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

• Server Monitoring and Management: backup/restore data with Veeam, review event logs, manage users via Microsoft Entra, monitor performance, apply patches.
• Manage fleets of Windows and Linux servers and applications for day-to-day operations.
• Provide hands-on support for the local colocation data center and VMware across PIH portfolios.
• Offer foundational support in Microsoft Azure cloud resources and scripting tasks.
• Maintain Windows domain and prevent data loss with uptime and availability.
