Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is seeking a Systems & Security Administrator to manage on-site IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, AD, and security tooling across Southeast Massachusetts programs.

Reporting to the Director of IT Systems & Security, you will support VMware/Hyper-V environments, Azure AD, and 365 services, while maintaining documentation, HIPAA-aligned practices, and incident response processes, with occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in IT-related fields.
• At least 3 years in system administration, network operations, or IT security roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, virtualization, and AD services.
• Experience configuring firewalls, switches, wireless APs, and endpoint security tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools, network analyzers, and logging platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for cross-site support.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, shares, and GPOs.
• Monitor and support Microsoft 365 and Azure AD for availability and policy compliance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure or security issues.
• Collaborate on system rollouts, troubleshooting, and documentation of new tech.
• Configure and monitor firewalls, switches, VPNs, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams reflecting active configurations.
• Oversee virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), provisioning and patching.
• Manage security tools and incident response documentation and post-incident reviews.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and backups; support business continuity.
• Help onboarding/offboarding by managing user identities and access permissions.
