Job summary

Amteck is seeking a BMS/EPMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of building automation system projects. You will supervise design reviews, installation, commissioning, and integration with HVAC and other building systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and safety standards.

The role reports to the Vice President of Electrical Service and requires strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and risk management in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls) is often preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or BMS-specific certifications are highly advantageous.
• Experience 3–5+ years in project management for building services or construction, especially with BMS
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee BMS design reviews, installation, commissioning, and integration with HVAC, lighting, security, electrical, and fire systems.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; manage vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans; ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Lead FAT, SAT, and IST testing; manage closeout and handover of systems to operations teams.
• Oversee project financials including cost control, forecasting, margin analysis, and change orders.
