Job summary

Amteck is hiring a BMS/EPMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of building automation projects—from design through handover—reporting to the VP of Electrical Service.

You will coordinate design reviews, installation, testing, and commissioning across HVAC, electrical, and security systems, manage budgets and schedules, and lead diverse teams and vendors to ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience in construction or building services with BMS/control systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls) preferred
• PMP, PRINCE2, or BMS-specific certifications highly advantageous
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and schedules while ensuring safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables; develop and manage detailed schedules and budgets
• Oversee BMS design reviews, installation, commissioning, and testing; ensure integration with HVAC, lighting, security, electrical and fire systems
• Serve as primary client contact; manage vendors, contracts, and progress meetings
• Identify risks and implement mitigation; ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Lead FAT, SAT and IST; manage closeout and handover of systems to operations
• Oversee project financials including cost control, forecasting, margin analysis and change orders
